Story from 5Q Training

I would love this type of training to be done within a Pastoral Conference or Pastoral forums within denominations. I am thinking about how this could be done within my own denomination. Thank you.

I really enjoyed this Course. It was very stretching and enlightening. It caused me to have even more questions that are beyond the scope of the training, and that is a good thing. Lindsey was a very competent instructor…aka she knew her stuff. She was very affirming and encouraging of the group, and always set a positive, uplifting tone for the meetings. Most importantly, we could tell her Love for Jesus and His Church  and that made all the difference. Overall, the Course was excellent with a qualified, Spirit filled instructor.

The Lord’s enablement through Lindsey’s excellent teaching, to see APEST within a variety of Church contexts, and without within our Society as well.

I am sometimes asked why I do what I do? Why do we train in APEST? Why does it matter? What difference does it make? I have worked with 5Q for the past 6 years and through that time I have seen the transformation that can happen during one of our training experiences. I do what I do because Jesus shows up in every conversation, his design, and his plan for his people to be fully activated is revealed in the moments when we gather together. In the fall of 2023 I had the privilege to participate in a training with a man from Canada. He was filled with humility and a hunger for God’s kingdom to come to pass on this earth. Throughout our time together in the 5Q foundations cohort I was able to hear about his ministry experience, his desire for deeper discipleship across the church and the urgent nature of the church being equipped.
